stepping through the snow
our steps
similar..
yours already familiar..
I'm imagining Canada..
but this succeeds for now.
In a house clothed with memories
none of which are mine..
I am so uncomfortable
you assure me
''it's fine''.
Laughter lays like
snowflakes
on the window sill.
You make me so happy
you make me so ill
words sit in my mouth
like pus,
underneath acne of resilience
which is us.
You complete me
like snow touching me
and how it felt.
Here we sit..historys colliding
watching the snow melt
