Lies I Despise

Contributed by Bones on Wednesday, 2nd March 2005 @ 06:35:45 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Walking through the path in a daze
Life seems to last only a few days
To sleep all day, it’s your pride that pays
I’ve lost you, forgetting where you lay

Walking with grace
Destination is no place
Life seems like a race
Can you keep up with the pace?
It seems like my life has flown by
Now that you’ve left I feel ready to die
These bloodstains can’t be been by the naked eye
I’ve resorted to things beyond my mind
Now my life is in a total bind
With everyone in front I’m falling behind

Walking through the path in a daze
Life seems to last only a few days
To sleep all day, it’s your pride that pays
I’ve lost you, forgetting where you lay

It’s been your lies I despise
Looking deep into my eyes
My soul
Can you see the toll?
I’m taking
My world is shaking
For you
Please tell me what to do
Oh Lord
Should I wield this sword?
Or cry
Just please tell me you didn’t lie

Walking through the path in a daze
Life seems to last only a few days
To sleep all day, it’s your pride that pays
I’ve lost you, forgetting where you lay
