Darkness that calls

What's with this place?
Is this all that will matter?
I have chosen a face...
For my friends will be gladder.

But the darkness will call...
Upon the light it will...
Yet...the light is twisted.
As twisted as the darkness it is...

Which one will I follow?
None...they're the same to me...
They seem a bit shallow...
Oh yes indeed.
