You are the wings on my back
Without you I'd fall to the ground
But with you I'm losing myself in the atmosphere
Where my misfortunes could never be found
You are my medicine
You turn me from sickly to healthy in a matter of seconds
Free from the ailments that seem to plague me
And you sheild me if a new sickness beckons
You are like gravity
Holding me to your heart like earth holds us to dirt
As long as you're here I'll never fall away
And as long as I'm here you'll never have to worry about being hurt
You're like a brand new cast
Holding me together slowly mending my breaks
You keep me in line down the straight and narrow
Repairing me no matter what it takes

ok you might want to rearrange some words because... although a very sweet poem my mind stuck on the gravity and atmosphere parts... like the poem should have been about science... but other than that it was wonderful |
