You know my desires are your disguises on my skin
I dream them in the night
I chase them in the wind
Draped over you as organic comfort laid
You spoke softly woven
into the fantasy I’d made
You were anything but fragile
akin to what I felt
knowing my desires are hollow like shells
My face, your disguise
Your truth, my lies
It could all be right beside me, instead
I dream them in the night
