What Should Be

Contributed by essentially9 on Tuesday, 1st March 2005 @ 09:40:30 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

What Should Be

Hateful with spite
In this loveless life
Infected and intoxicated
With delusions
Of what should be
Fixated with reality
By what will never be

Anger and resentment
Reign supreme
In a malcontent
With no dreams

What should be
Is a dream
For those with need
What will never be
Is a nightmare
For those wishing to be free

I die infected from reality
But being dreamless
Was the real misery
In this emptiness
