Considerin',I've been awarded a gratuity
from thy employer
Thy feelin' generous,needin' a celebration
to present thy gratitude to thy confidants
Tap water for everyone
I'm payin'
But only a petite glass
Didn't obtain that bloated
of a bundle

I didn't really find any meaning in this poem, rather just a story about a lack of generosity. Who are you trying to make out to be the cheapskate in this poem, the employee or the employer??? Some work on the structure could add to its effectiveness as well as puting in a few more lines. |
