Elegance and relevance burst before my vision
Im stunned and unbelieving, her motions glow and glisten
Her mouth it moves with beauty but Im too distraught to listen
Ive discovered myself powerless, the wind is natures lifting
Brunette and blond, yet long and gone, and still I see no truth
Her shadow even forms something no human could undo
Her smile cracks and so do I but different is the mood
Ive discovered myself powerless, the wind is sweeping through
And as the clock continues round she soon turns to my face
This is the first time we have met, lets not put it to waste
But paralyzed and nervous, will i prove myself her taste?
Ive discovered myself powerless, the wind my only grace
Her hair it flows so freely as it blows between our eyes
Her hand it moves so slowly as her ear becomes the rise
Nightmares turn to hope as a giggle removes the cries
Ive discovered myself powerless, the wind credits my sighs

What a beauty-full poem. So eloquent - I love the repetition and I love the wind! |
