Hear My Tears

Contributed by concrete_rose on Monday, 28th February 2005 @ 09:19:13 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

The constant pain from my damaged heart, screams out for help, hurt by the things you say and do, without any feeling of guilt or shame, or atleast thats the way you make it seem, i reach out for you in my time of need, but you're selfishness cuts like knives and your character continues to decieve.
Lover can you hear my tears?

You burn me with your many lies, honesty in your heart is nowhere to be found, you hide the truth under those beautiful eyes, they seem so gentle, filled with mocha brown, when you smile you lift me up, when you frown you throw me down.
Lover can you feel my tears?

Your precious lips speak words, that my ears beg to hear, your voice sometimes controls me, it trembles me with fear, whatever your lips may say, is what my body may do, beacuse of that your words are slick and smooth.
Lover can you heal my tears?

your jealousy can be the worst at times, your jealously has a mind of it's own, it advances your insecurity, brings out your immaturity. It accuses me of being with others, although i feel alone, my lost heart is without warmth and shelter, and no place to call its home.
Lover can you wipe my tears?

You deeply cut that zig zag line down my shattered, battered, heart because your love is what i'm missin, you do not hear the tears i cry because you do not listen.

We can continue growing
If you stop my tears from flowing
But you have to really show me
When I cry you'll forever hold me.

there was only one thing i found wrong in this and it was the use of the same word to rhyme with another one. i am very impressed with this poem.
