In the hour of darkness that will be upon us,
A tear is placed in my soul
It forever grows until what strength was there diminishes
I’m sorry I can’t be strong as your arms hold me close.
I’m sorry my tears cannot be kept within
I just want to wash away the world with my fingertips
The depths of your eyes is uncanny, they burn into my soul
My heart pulsates with every whisper
I miss every word when you’re not here
Every touch
Every look
My soul is endlessly weeping,
As I take these spells and cast them unbeknownst to all
Blood discharges from innocent eyes.
Feel the dagger severing the emptiness
Brutal pain endured
Beautiful, beautiful rust colored stains
Be truthful, and answer me this, Love:
Will you glance back when I mouth the words ‘I’m Sorry’?
Will you bat an eye when my promises spew forth from my tainted lips?
Memories that wring my heart loose, plunging it down to my soles of my feet.
Feet that have walked this Earth with naïve steps, tip toeing around those left to bleed.
Don’t slip.
