and the earth moved
nightmares created
a mindless executioner
devoid a kindly heart
souls lost forever
mother nature takes
her children back
we living fail to comprehend
with saddened hearts
and valor might
all nations congregate
the earth was moved again
all history scribes
will mark this day
the great tsunami strike
in time, a mere footnote.
teach us all this well
we do not own this land
but rather it owns us
please savor what you got.

great write.... its actually really true, people think we run the world but in a second it can take out our power trip with any of several natural disasters... as it did with the tsunami... and before it happened the only thing we could think would take us off our cloud was something like an earthquake, hurricane, or even a volcano... but mother nature made sure we didn't forget about tidal waves |
