Lies

Topic: SongLyrics

Sick of telling
Telling all the lies to you
Nothing that I had to do
Sick of living
This double life I've lived so long
Somday it will go wrong
Sick of being
The person that yu think I am
It's another place I stand

But if I don't tell the lies
If I dont compromise
You will forbid me
To do all the things I want
All the things I need
You will forbid me
To live

Sick of waiting
Till someone finds the real me
This isn't what I meant to be
Sick of thinking
All the lies I ever told you
It isn't what I want to do
Sick of hoping
Hoping for the pain to end
No this isn't where I stand

But if I don't tell the lies
If I dont compromise
You will forbid me
To do all the things I want
All the things I need
You will forbid me
To live

So that's why I lie to you
That's why I always do
The thigns I never told
The thing I hold
Close to my heart I see
Something that's made to be
Here in me
Forever

But if I don't tell the lies
If I dont compromise
You will forbid me
To do all the things I want
All the things I need
You will forbid me
But if I don't tell the lies
If I dont compromise
You will forbid me
To do all the things I want
All the things I need
You will forbid me
To live

i don't want to prach but you have a choice...be true to yourself(and in turn, to those you believe in and who believe in you) or continue with deception. is the things you 'want' really so important that you would put your self-esteem on the auction block?
good piece.
thanks for sharing

No wonder you feel lost inside. You've manouvered yourself in a impossible position that must be tearing you apart. I think it is about time that you decide who are your real friends and where your loyalties and commitment lie.
