Beats of the earth shadow the viens as the blood flow through,
the eyes of past beings stare at the birth of the new moon,
the blossoms grow pregnant as the wind sings,
tears dampen the soul this night of Spring.

Rusti, remember in 8th grade English when Mr. McCullough had us look at those pictures he had hanging around the room, and we had to write a really descriptive piece on it? Everyone came up with something really, really cool, and we were all surprised with one another...I remember yours, I still have it written down in my "memory box" =P. But this poem reminds me of that, because it's so very descriptive of its imagery! Good job, seriously. ^_^ |
