MY BLACK GRAMMA SHE SAY

Topic: SongLyrics

Big Sis was peddling
tators or somethin.
She took me 2 an ole shack.
It was a way time back.

My black gramma she say,
2 my 16 year ole,
"If u do goods things
U got good things 2
look forward to
but if u do bad
U got bad 2 look to.

Them words of wisdom
stuck deep in my soul.
Unconscienly did vow
that, I'd do it somehow.

Anger took over when men
jus walked all over me.
Didn't know how to luv myself
As I laid morals on a shelf

Then one day a white knight,
he brought forgiveness,
came to free my broken soul.
Dear ones, don't cha know?

Long ago I called him Hiawatha

Foot note: Now I know her as an angel "cause she's long ago quit walking this Earth in a Physical being. Honestly after sittin in church for many years other than healings etc. that ole lady planted a seed with so few words that has kept me going thru the years. I'd also like to dedicate this to Marty Michelle, My oldest daughter). You'll make it thru girl. 4-eva luv, yomomma
