her prayer

She has written her last note.
her suicide letter,
is what she wrote.
Heres her sorrow written on paper.
"Now I lay me down to death,
I pray to god,
for a good last breath.
In my life I tried so hard,
it was never enough.
I was good to others,
never mean or rough.
I'm sorry I wasn't,
good enough for you.
How much dread life with held,
I never knew.
And as the lord takes my soul,
you'll remember me.
I now open deaths door,
with this blade, my key."
Now shes gone,
and will never know shes missed.
Tears fall down her friends cheek,
her forehead he kissed.
