I must Leave you!

Contributed by MajesticPoet on Saturday, 26th February 2005 @ 09:22:35 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

This is to the one I will always love. In times of terror and turmoil we must all come to a decision. This is my hardest one I have ever had to make. How do you leave someone you love so much? I know though if I attempt to hang on I will only hurt myself by hurting you in the long run. I hope you understand!

**This poem was some what inspired by Papa Roaches song Scars**

--__--__--

I could cry for you
Each and every day
If I told you I love you
Would it be too late?

I sit here
And I wish you well
A life without you
Is a life lived in hell

I rip my chest open
Just to breath
This pain inside me
It will never leave

Shred my life open
I’ll sew myself shut
My weakness is
That I care for you so much

I see you falling
I offer you my hand
Compassions in my nature
I now know tonight was our last dance

My scars remind me
That the past is all too real
I tare my soul open
Just so I can feel

I have to tell you
How I truly think
My undying love for you
Is what keeps me from the brink

It fully burns me to say
The words that may need to be said
Confusion, frustration, convolution
All pounding inside my head

No lies when I speak
You know I love you
What should be done is what I must do
I hate even the thought of not having you

Giving in to what has got me
Breathing claustrophobic scars
Sever me from all my emotions
Why is this all so damn hard?

Forever painted on my face
This blinding residual frown
I will always want and love you
In my love I must back down

I reside with all this pain
Roving, trementious madness
I will always be here
To help you liberate your sadness

I can’t fix myself
Although at least I tried
I have to cry now tears of seperation
I have to move on with my so called life

Dont hate me, for this is the hardest thing I have had to do
When you awake in the morning it will all be clear
The spot in my heart will always be yours
My broken heart will mend, Yours breaking is a sound I cant bare to hear

This is so hard to do
Death would be an less painful way
Kim I love you with every breath in my soul
I will miss you every long passing day.

I don't want to make you mad...but SOME of your lines are copied word for word from that song and that is plagiarism, unless you note that you have literally copied them from the song. You can just say it was "somewhat inspired" by it.
hugs,
jules

Omg what is soo weird is u sound so much like one of my ex's i thought u were him for a sec. lol I see how love is hurting you too. But its better to have loved and lost than never loved at all. Or thats what they say. This is a really good poem I hope everything gets better for you...
