I sleep the sleep of dreamers
Who knows when I'll come to
I toss and turn
For love I yearn
And all I see is you
Am I only sleeping?
With every breath I fear:
Is it my last?
My time shall pass
Though my presence lingers here
Love has captured me now
My wants and aches abound
My heart has wings
With joy I sing
Elysium I've found
And so I ask you gently
With sleep do you agree?
The burdens lift
Your soul's adrift
I hope you dream of me.
