Asking for a miracle!

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Saturday, 14th December 2002 @ 06:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Holiday Poetry

Dear Santa,
I need to ask for a miracle today,
My dads feeling a little down,
I asked God when I pray,
but hes still wearing that frown,
My moms in heaven this you know,
but my dads been lost since than,
he knows he has to let go,
but he lost his best friend,
If you could let him see her,
if only for a while,
he'll be happy this I'm sure,
I need to see him smile,
For Christmas is'nt the same anymore,
now that moms not here,
I want him happy like before,
Can you wipe away his tear,
For Santa I know your busy now,
spreading Christmas cheer,
but can you help him out some how,
So we can see him smile this year,
the pain in him is hurting so,
It's killing him inside,
I don't want to see him go,
but my hands are tied,
theres nothing we can do,
So can you help me please,
Let dad see mom for just a few,
to set his mind at ease!

It'll be your Mum saying she's there. xxxxxxxxxxx
