Starting over

Contributed by sissy19 on Saturday, 26th February 2005 @ 02:02:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Event

I'm starting my life all over again because this time I'm in to big of a pin.
Because of all this drama I feel as if I've been living in a world of nothing but sin.
I've not been able to be myself because of all this bad stuff that has happenened.
My heart broke and its a slow process to mend.
I've lost a lot of people some I needed some I didn't need.
I was just a follower now I need to learn to be in the lead.
I lost everything I was begining to be because of bad judgement.
Its to bad it took me this long to realize I shouldn't of went.
Because its to late to turn back time and redo whats already done.
My life is no longer fun.
Everyday I drag myself out in a world where I feel lost and a afraid.
But I have to be able to live because I need to get paid.
So, I choose to walk out into that nasty world with my head held high.
I'm sick of staying up late in the night just to cry.
I'll move on but I'll never forget the loss of my soul that night.
But I'm gonna keep pushing through it all then maybe one day things will start to look bright.

I enjoyed this write. You were so very honest with your feelings. Keep the positive flowing, my sister, it is hard sometimes but keep the faith. Stay kind. Much peace to you. Laura

Yep, been there. I understand your poem all too well. But you hang in there- there truly are good things around the next bend in the road.
Keep writing it down, its excellent therapy for healing. Good work!:)
