As We Move On…

Contributed by kidpoet_213 on Saturday, 26th February 2005 @ 12:08:14 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Sometimes this life is like looking through painted glass.
As we peer at the world we’re living in.
All we see is a world of frosted… milky white
With brush strokes running through it… time after time.
Like the tears we sometimes cry.

As we move on…
Each minute in our lives…
Sixty seconds at a time.
We wonder if…
We can really make a difference in someone else’s life?
Can we really change them?
We may not … if we don’t ever try.
As we move on…

Drifting upon the winds.
Taking different roads.
Leading separate lives.
And then…
Let us not forget… the impact we’ve made upon each other’s hearts.
The friendship we shared…
And most important of all…
The love… that showed we always cared.

As we move on…
Let us take a minute from our lives
Just to say… “Hello” or “I love you”
Or even sometimes… “Goodbye”.
Now… let us take another minute…
To give a smile… a kiss… a hug.
Maybe it will make all the difference to someone.
As we move on…

Life begins…
And at some point in time…
That same life will end.
So let us mend…
All the little rips and tears in our lives…
And the dreams… that have come and gone.
But the love we shared…
It lives on.
It never goes away alone.
It never falls apart.
It stays right within the heart.
As we move on…

As we move on…
Each minute in our lives…
Sixty seconds at a time.
We wonder if…
We can really make a difference in someone else’s life?
Can we really change them?
We may not … if we don’t ever try.
As we move on…

Why do I feel like no one needs me anymore?
Like I’m being tossed aside… no use can they find for me in their lives.
I’m drifting upon the winds…
Never knowing what I’m going to face in life again.

As I move on…
Each minute in my life…
Sixty seconds at a time.
I wonder if…
I have really made a difference in someone else’s life?
Have I really changed them?
I may never know … if I haven’t ever tried.
As I move on…

Drifting upon the winds.
Taking different roads.
Leading separate lives.
And then…

As we move on…
Each minute in our lives…
Sixty seconds at a time.
We wonder if…
We can really make a difference in someone else’s life?
Can we really change them?
We may not … if we don’t ever try.
As we move on…

As we move on…
Let us take a minute from our lives
Just to say… “Hello” or “I love you”
Or even sometimes… “Goodbye”.
Now… let us take another minute…
To give a smile… a kiss… a hug.
Maybe it will make all the difference to someone.
As we move on…

(On and on and on...)

As we move on.

(On and on and on...)

As we move on.
