Demands so great, ending in fate
A little too much, a little too late
Locked in a box, sealed in a crate
Tossed in turmoil, an endless wait
Fly with the wind. It's a need to be free
The days' almost done. It's how it's to be
A sight that remains, a picture you see
A promise in wait, a destiny.
Tomorrow will come. The days' will go on
As nights surely fall you'll rise with the sun
Unburdened from weight, released from the pain
Beginning a journey of living again
For each little bird that flys in the sky
Wings of an angel to carry them high
Freedom abounds and whispers your name
The child within begins a new game
