I Wish

Contributed by Stellar on Friday, 25th February 2005 @ 08:43:21 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

I wish for one day
To see a silver lining behind every cloud
To know the only way to go is up
When all you are is down

I wish for one hour
To be able to find peace
To find a time
When I feel the most at ease

I wish for one minute
I could focus on the blessings I have
And let go
Of all the heartache from my past

I wish for a moment
That I'd stop feeling blue
One moment of happiness
To help me get through

A stunningly beautiful write. Heart-wrenchingly sad even. I hope you get what you wish for, I'll wish for you too...

Take Care

This was a beautiful piece. I especially liked your first stanza, it really got me excited to see what you could come up with for the rest of the poem. Great Write, good luck.
