Wrapped Around Your Finger

Like a baby crying
I hear your plea
And the sternness in my voice
Tends to flee
You have your daddy
Wrapped around your little finger
Cause you know your charms
Tend to linger
I wear my heart
On my sleeve
And sometimes my actions
Don’t deceive
Your wisdom
Is beyond your age
And you read me
Like words on a page
You play my emotions
Like a game
You’re quite a player
Worthy of the hall of fame
Yes my son
You rule your dad
And for some odd reason
I don’t feel sad

In my house, it's the daughter who does this. You remind me of a time when she came in and dissolved in tears in my arms. Oh, we love them so much. Imagine how much God loves each of us. Awesome.

| I think you'd be a good songwriter, becuase for some reason this reminds me of a song... I didn't quite understand the whole meaning of this, but good write none the less |
