Sometimes in my good dreams,
I can see me as your wife.
In others, I can see myself,
Dying to save your life.
In different dreams, I see your past,
And how much you’ve progressed.
Times you knew you needed a change,
When change was for the best.
Then there was that one dream,
That scared me half to death.
The one where your past took me away,
And took all you had left.
The one where I had to watch you fight,
Helplessly and alone.
Times when fear and pain and tears,
Sounded like your home.
In certain dreams I can hear your voice,
A mere echo frozen in time.
An echo that will soon bounce off these walls,
And once again be mine.
Some dreams, I see in my sleep,
Others, I see with my heart.
Some so great, I hope they don’t leave,
Most I long they’ll depart.
In good dreams, I am with you,
Buried deep inside your arms.
Clouds as a matress, moon as a pillow,
Our blanket made of stars.
Even if the dream is bad,
It’s still my favorite place.
Cuz somewhere in the screams and fear,
I get to see your face.

Wow, this is good also. If I am right, this stanza is talking about your other poem "I DIed For Love" right?
Then there was that one dream,

Helplessly and alone.
Anyways, this is another of your good writes. You really are the best poet I think I have met. Your writing just stands out to me more than all the others I have read. Something tells me you will be famous someday. If not for writing, then for just being wise, because when you write, you write with so much wisdom and maturity. Are you sure you are only sixteen? Because this is the work of an adult. And this poem is absolutely great. |
