Turning page to page
I saw your words lost in a haze
And every sentence was blurry and vague
Give me the gist now
United and divided
All the pictures were just prisoners in frames
I see I’m trapped as much as they are
I can tell it’s the same
Your decision is the ending to my scrapbook today
Staring at your face
Although I never caught its gaze
Had seemed to know me
Since I left the egg
Not such a stranger
Grinning while offending
With our insults on a chessboard is what we played
Though the barbs that hit their targets
Felt like love anyway
Your decision is the ending to my scrapbook today
