The sun doesn't shine,
At least not for me.
Happiness will never be mine,
Is this how it will always be?
People stab me in the back,
Why is pain so attached to my soul?
Trust is something all people lack,
Because their fake smiles have taken a tole.
There are spaces in my heart that will never be filled,
So many dodge my gaze.
They don't know that my parents were killed.
But I guess this is just another one of those torn in half days,
Because people will never change their hateful ways.
