COMMENT, OR LIFE AS WE KNOW IT WILL...

Contributed by english-pea-pelter on Thursday, 24th February 2005 @ 06:26:52 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

the only kind of poem anyone reads anymore, are depression and hard times. only titles like, blood and addiction is the only thing anybody will listen to. some of my best poems are titled without depression, and get not comments at all, because nobody reads them. if you agree, COMMENT FOR SOMEONE WHO WONT!!!!

My first thought was it takes one to know one but then I retrackted that staement in my mind.
What's the definition of idiot?
When I write I do it for God #1
for myself #2
for others so they can learn from my own idiotic mistakes #3
I read mucho more poems than i comment on but that don't mean that it wasn't a good write. It jus means that i'd have to sit here more than 24 hours a day and we all know there are only 24 hours a day unless we're idiots.
Guess u jus need to acces your reason for writing.

I'm sorry, I don't agree, sure it's part of it, but there could be other reasons your work is not being read. It could even be the time of day you're posting.

Trust me, in time, if you get your name out and your voice heard your poems will be read.

hey buddy! very nice insight...i agree with you to a point but i also see what the others mean. i personnally dont read a lot of poems about addiction but thats because i am not faced with it as others are. some people read poems about addiction because it helps them with their own struggles with it. dont give up!
