Summer.
Are the days we've spend together;
Filled with your kindness,
Your love,
Like the summer sun warming up my life.
Fall.
Is the day you left.
Like leaves falling from a tree,
You fell away from me.
Blown away by te wind, searching for a better place.
Winter.
Are the days I spend without you;
Cold and dark.
Snowflakes falling from the sky,
Are like loneliness and pain falling down on me.
Spring.
The snowflakes are gone,
The leaves are growing back on the tree.
The loneliness and pain are fading,
All that's left are memories.
Without you,
I know it'll never be summer again,
But spring's fine with me...

Lovely metaphors.
Simply expressed, and yet, they bring out the feelings so well.
I liked the way it ended too...bitter-sweet, sad and yet not devoid of hope.
