LISTEN CAN YOU HEAR IT?

Listen, can you hear it, standing ever still
Motionless but watching, my back can feel the chill
Don't you know it follows, where ever you may go
walk across the landing, you'll hear it coming slow

Closing all the windows, locking all the doors
Trying to play it safe, when the trouble is indoors
Feel it brushing past, while lying in your bed
Feel it in your sleep when it's toying with your head

Listen don't you hear it, try your best to see
he's standing by the door, watching you and me
Why would he even stay here? Is he the only one
One thing that I know, the worst is yet to come

I understand it and I really liked it. Although I'm still not too sure exactly 'who' you where talking about. The worst is yet to come-hopefully not! take care
