October, sweet October,
With honey-coated trees
The smell of old leaves yonder,
The cooling autumn breeze
October, quiet October,
The critters headed south
The winter’s gaining slowly,
The summer in your mouth
October, cold October,
The golden leaves, they fall
The naked trees, they shiver,
As winter comes to call

I can't believe no one posted a comment to the poem. I think it is a very well written quick beat, sweet poem and describes the month extremely well.
Thanks for sharing!
