do we ever know the full extent of alzheimers power
can we fathom what goes on inside the brain
are we able to comprehend the full break down in process
do we ever want to know can we cope with the knowledge
so many questions so little answers
my mind constantly ask questions why this why that
but i can never come up with a logical answer
sad part is neither can the medical researchers
so where does that leave us same as before no where
so many questions so little answers
many of us have suffered others are coming up
how many more will there be we shudder to think
it should be old hat for us but we cringe at the new ones
our hearts never seem to mend the pain is always there
so many questions so little answers
no matter how much the pain we will help them
we remember the loneliness we went through
we cant let them feel the same isolation unprepared
we are here and always shall be for those who follow
so many questions so little answers

We each have our struggles and our questions. I'm afraid my day for dealing with this will be coming. It's not a challenge I relish. Writing about something is always a good way to deal with it, and you ask all the right questions.
