Far Away by Heath Midkiff
Chorus:
I long to be with you,
Every passing day,
You seem so Far Away,
So Far Away.
Verse 1:
When I first met you,
I felt something special,
I wanted to take you to,
A new world with me,
We could be alone forever,
Just you and me,
Day after day.
Verse 2:
You seem to drift further away,
But my love keeps you near,
This world, keeps me away,
From you, my one true love,
I would travel miles and miles,
Just to see your face,
One time before I die.
Bridge:
Far Away,
So Far Away,
Please come nearer to me,
I want to be with you.

Good lyrics! I write music and play myself, so I can give a little advice on this matter. The one song that I posted on this site, got no response at all. People were complaining about not being able to pick up ryhthem(sp) of my lyrics. But, both you and I know, that behind your lyrics, there is a great melody moving the words along. So, standard poetry and song lyrics will tend to land in different catagories. Good stuff my man! |
