A Lunar Halo

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Wednesday, 23rd February 2005 @ 11:16:54 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Did any one happen to look up at the sky the other night around twelveish
Did any one see the Lunar Halo and feel like me
I don’t it was just so amazing I have never seen anything like that before
It was amazing it really was and not just coz I am Wiccan
But even though I was in awe I just could not help but think about my Girlfriend Robin and I wish I had her by my side
I tried to photograph it but was not able to but I did find one only that look a lot like the one I saw
I hope you all enjoy

And just so you don’t feel this was a waste to read coz it’s not really a poem here is a poem I wrote for robin

An Auburn Sky within a Dream

By Greta

Eyes like an auburn sky
Capture me and I am left asking why

Why does he look at me that way?
And why do my eyes not stray?

Such simple and kind shades
Deep and dark tones that never fade

What lies beneath that auburn haven?
Where angels make their homes and where I am taken

Every time he looks at me
What oh what can this feeling be

That consumes me whole ever so sweetly
What price is there to pay for such joy cannot come cheaply

What ever it could be it would not tear me apart
For I would risk it all even my heart

Just to feel that way forever
For what is this life with out endeavors?

Eyes like an auburn sky
Captivate me and I am left asking why

How do they make me feel so real?
How do they make me feel?

As if we could be in a room of a thousand faces
In such lonely and crowded places

And I am the only one he would see
And that I an the most beautiful girl that there could be

I some time feel as if those eyes are just a dream
When I do my eyes begin to stream

Tears start run down my face
For I know I am about to wake

Open my eyes and be with out him
It makes my days so hard to begin

But I will always have my nights and dreams
To keep me safe from all obscene

I wrote that poem from the point of view of a girl i think i did ok
