The God of Poetry
Have you read your own words
And make sure they made sense?
Most of the time I get bored,
Because the poem is so dense.
But that's normal here...
Your words of utter pointlessness
Are always completely heartless
When talent's what your try to feign.
Understanding's what you try to gain;
But nothing changes & stays the same,
But that's normal here...
Why do you rate a poem
If you don't tell them why?
The author's thoughts roam
Wondering what they did right.
You rate a poem without thinking.
Lying to them and baby feeding,
But that's normal here...
Sometimes I wonder who died and made you God.
Judging the poem on only one thing that's wrong.
Concepts are jaded with lack of understanding.
The formats are frayed with childish criticizing.
The truth you will never understand or take,
And all you do is have jealously and create hate,
But that's normal here...
Nothing ever changes it seems;
No matter how loud we scream.
No one wants to hear
That it's normal here.

Wow, I wish I could be critical and poke holes in this poem, but I can’t. *sigh* I’ll just have to tell you Good Job, keep it up, look forward to more…. Since nothing ever changes.
Seriously – good job, thanks for giving me a reason to smile. :-)

I haven't been here all that long but you guys seem very frustrated and have obviously had much feeling for this issue to write this poem so well so I'll have to agree with you. I hope it changes around here :)
Great job to the both of you.
