Moon Sprite

Contributed by LadyWynter on Wednesday, 23rd February 2005 @ 10:03:13 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

I sat beside my window, staring out into the night
When suddenly before me appeared a playful little sprite

Her skin was soft and shimmered, as if kissed by morning's dew
Irradescent as the starlight, with a slightly silver hue

She danced beneath the moonbeams, shining bright as any star
And I sat and gazed in wonder, captivated from afar

She darted 'round the tree leaves, laughing lightly as she went
And layed herself upon the grass when her energy was spent

THen as I watched she stretched her wings, and smiled in pure delight
And with a laugh she darted quick, and flew off into the night

What a refreshing read !! Light and happy. It reminds me of Bernard's Fairy writes ... if you have not yet seen his work ... you should investigate. He writes in a similar style about all manner of fairies. He would enjoy this as well. you have a magnifique entry here.

Nazzy ~
