In Your Arms

Topic: StoryPoetry

All is well the day is warm
I feel loved
Thought of You now are turned
Everything going my way
Out of mind and out of sight
Till this grey day when troubles swarm

All things in life are falling apart
Problems surmount
Too many to count
Where are You I cannot see
I come to You when I need
Cannot You heal a broken heart

Why do stormy days always stand out
Fear and anguish No one to love I turn to You in time of need
Yea, Lord help me please Sunny days You are put out of thought

The day of the Lord is every day
Lightning strikes
Thunder roars
Winds of change I cannot take
Where can I go
Where can I turn
Lord now I pray

Keep me from harm
O' the faith I lacked
The devil is on my back
I needed You then and didn't see
I need You now
Shine on me Your heavenly warmth

Lord its not You I blame
I didn't take time
Things were good and I forgot
Darkness left when love walked out
You were always here and You stayed
Lord God my sin my shame

Thank You Lord I again feel Your warmth
I am sorry I put You last
Troubles will surly cross our path
Lord I prayed
You were here and always stayed
You Love always had me in Your arms

Sinned
