There is a deafening silence that imprisons reason,
Forcing rumbling emotions to scream aloud “Treason!”
This silence mutes logic and strangles storming feelings,
Saluting you with false smiles and ill wishing greetings.
This kind of silence isn’t as golden as most may say,
For it absorbs colours leaving your soul in dismay.
It chains words and permits no outlet to your frustrations,
Leaving room only for doubts and baseless accusations.
