"Cellophane Flowers"
It's the danger of this that comes when I miss
When the dying wind comes back here again
to blow through the air 'cause I'm never there
And I fall in silence, I fail in violence
I'm not sure why fear is even still here
I don't know why I continue to hide
And keep this solidified like I have the rest of my life
Don't mean to let the days slip away
Never thought it'd be this hard to say
Everyday
I always want less, I'm always content
It's why I held back, I loved how it went
A colorful time so real in my mind
I was living a dream, I enjoyed all the scenes
It's my emotions when I feel you walk in
It's the walls in-between that can never be seen
that tear me up bad and make me feel sad
I'll say carpe diem, but it's not who I am
And forget the sun with all of it's showers
Lemme give, to you, these cellophane flowers
Don't mean to let the days slip away
Never thought it'd be this hard to say
Everyday
Never meant to make things this way
Should have been radiant, not grey
Everyday
I try so hard to show how I feel
I tried so hard to tell how I feel
But I always want less, I'm always content
It's why I held back, I loved how it went
