From out of no where a pretty face appears
and with a sigh i expect less than i should.
But with a smile she hands me a baby blue robins egg.
I should be so lucky to recieve somthing so precious.
But no matter how precious my robins egg could be
i somehow yet agian let it slip through my hands and
shatter with whats left of my dreams.

Whoa, so short, but sad. Emotional.

I think its great that it so short, it almost seems to emphasis the point of the poem. A really beautiful poem. |
