Ticking clocks,
In my head,
Never stopping,
Never breathing,
Never pitying,
Anyone like me.
I've suffered for they're seconds,
and bled for all they're weeks,
But there are years that I have missed.
Just because I was too weak.
Down and out,
I could not fight back.
I just sat there and watched.
As the clocks ticked and tocked.
I want them to be gone,
I want them to stop ticking,
They've taken so much from me,
Isn't it enough?
I wished one day they broke,
I dreamt one day I smiled,
But what happened when they choked,
Is that it was never really worth while...
I slept forever,
Dreamt a lifetime,
In my clouded mind,
I was safe from time...

I've suffered for THEIR seconds,
and bled for all THEIR weeks,
I enjoyed your work though, edit it and you have a nice piece.
