Dear Journal

Contributed by Daniels_Princess on Tuesday, 22nd February 2005 @ 06:27:41 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Journal, Im not sure what to write here
Since every eye may see
Im used to locking what I feel
Up deep inside of me
My heart has never been known
Nor the thoughts that I think
And Journal, Im kinda worried
To let them see the real me
I always put my smile on
The one that gets me through
And Journal, Id have no one to confide in
If it wasn't for you
I used to have Daniel..
Til I saw how he really was..
Journal, he cheated on me
And shattered my heart til it was dust
I used to run to him
When I wanted only to cry
He held me tight in his arms
And lifted me up so I could fly
Journal, I cried so much that night
Wonderin what I did
We had our future planned out
Even had names for our kids..
He promised he'd never hurt me
He said hed never lie..
Journal, Im so confused now
I dont know how to survive
Everyone tells it'll be okay
And I just have to move on
Their all pushing me so much
I think I just might fall
Im not ready to stop loving him
Even though he did me wrong..
Journal, whats a girl to do
When she knows no happy song?
I think I better go now
Before I start to cry
Cause, Journal, I still love him..
And I just dont know why
