Holding My Hand

Many things about tomorrow,
I don’t seem to understand,
But I know who holds tomorrow,
And I know who holds my hand.
Simple words from a song,
Yet they’re not simple at all,
They mean so much to me,
For it’s on the Lord that I humbly call.
My future looks so uncertain,
As I look with these earthly eyes,
My valley’s way too barren,
My river’s way too wide.
There’s no way that I can do this,
I can’t face tomorrow by myself,
I place my faith in You, Oh God,
And I know You want to help.
And though I know there’s things about tomorrow,
That I won’t ever understand,
Lord, I’m giving You my tomorrow,
And I’m glad You’re holding my hand.

Amen. I love thee message and I love the writing. A real good poem.
