Nothing New under The Sun
there is nothing new under the sun
i've heard that quote before
nothing new, no nothing new
not one....new thing.....more
so does that mean these words
i write
these thoughts i think right now
are somewhere, sometime happening
nothing new.....oh wow!
i thought i was unique
a rare and exquisite find
but now i know there's nothing new
and i have been, just blind
what moves us then?
what gravitates, that pull upon my soul
the part that makes me different
am i just a piece, not whole?
of course i can't be, but maybe i can
the pondering leaves me frayed
and as i ponder i wonder if
my doppleganger ponders this day?

if i learn nothing about life i've learned simply that nothing changes,, they simply get different, same pool balls, same pool sticks
same table, just different players, 2days youth will be 2 morrow whiners about the good old days, lmao, great poem carol . . .

| sweet poem, and interesting thougts. I didn't like doppleganger in here, it kind of spoiled the end for me, but I am still glad to have read it. |
