Arise, Arise,
My friend, while I plan your demise.
Ah yes that subterfuge, friend.
They say the means justifies the end.
I will build the reality that I see fit.
As fate would have it, your existence, I cannot permit.
You lied to me, and came as a well-wisher.
Behind the guise, you were nothing more than a tempter.
I went blind through the entire masquerade.
I was betrayed!
Becoming my Rasputin therein.
You dragged me through the mud.
Now friend, I will settle for nothing less than your blood.
I have planned this moment with much pleasure and difficulty.
So don’t expect any mercy.
That’s fair wouldn’t you agree?
My friend, my enemy I’ve come for you.
Don’t forget to say Adieu.

Intense write, nonetheless, I really liked it. The last two lines were just great and poerful. Nice work. |

Interesting. I like the way you build to a climax, explaining why then, your plans to reciprocate.
I don't know if the line, "that's fair wouldn't you agree?" lends to your effort.
Good poem. Thanks for the read. Who's Rammstein? |
