Up

Contributed by deadheadpoet on Monday, 21st February 2005 @ 10:01:06 PM in AEST
Topic: insomniac

Up........
Late again
too many things
seem to occupy
one mind....
I calmly say..
quiet down in there.
I screamed silently
SHUT THE HELL UP IN THERE!
But.......
it........
continues...
The thoughts
The tangents

Never slowing down
its always been this way
Very frightening as a child
Not a real pussycat either
as I've aged

Not as if it's any easier as time
passes

I've just gotten wiser

I totally agree with Ben on this one.
Sounds like unfinished business.
Keep up the great work.

I was just talking to someone today about this very thing. How it doesn't get any easier. Wished I had put it down like you did here.

Truly yours
