selfstruggles

I can't keep my head up
I tried but it's too much
I'm gripping onto nothing
But I was cursed with a weak clutch
And my soul has been ripped open
And my heart torn into shreds
Nothing left to put my hope in
Disgrace lowers my head
What have I to worry about?
Who am I to care?
I just can't seem to find the doubt,
But I feel it's presence everywhere
Like a wound that cannot heal
Or a cold-hearted person who cannot feel
My doubt is unable to go away
I beg it to leave
But it chooses to stay
I can turn and run
But in the eyes of everyone
I see my reflection
Leading me to the direction
Of the permanent doubt
