Weight off my Shoulders

Contributed by Kay-Kay on Monday, 21st February 2005 @ 03:28:01 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Feeling very tired and i think i need a break.
I am not sure if there are any measures that i need to take.

In order to get to the place i want to be.
The extra weight on my shoulders is weighing down on me.

Sometimes just taking a deep breath always doesn't help.
The weight still seems to be there it's not good for my health.

I try not to letthe stress eat me alive.
So i just sit back and close my bloodshot eyes.

My sleep is becoming less and i just can't seem to relax.
I feel like i could just go lay down and relapse.

Back into that state of mind that keeps me from loving.
It puts me in the state of mind where i'm in love with shoving.

This weight is holding me back from so many things.
Think of all the depression this weight truley brings.

I wonder if there is a cure for all of this stuff that is going on.
If there is let me know because if not then i'm gone.

Yes, there are times when the weight is to much. Don't go! The cure is to tell yourself it's okay to get rid of some of the weight. One good thing about you is that you cared enough to comment on my poem. Take care and be nice to yourself.
