The Greatest Lover of Our Time

Contributed by heartquake on Sunday, 20th February 2005 @ 11:45:38 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

If you want me to be funny
Then I will make you laugh
If you want to come first
I can make everyone else last

When you are running blind and hopelessly lost
I can be your safe home
Safe from the devils controlling your life
And those uncertanties that won't leave you alone

When need to vent your emotions
I can be a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on
No matter how mundane the subject of discussion is
You will always have my undivided attention

I'll do my best to be the greatest lover of our time
Or I can be your best friend if you just need to chat
And the only thing I'll ever ask of you
Is to give me some of the same love back
