Something I Want To Say

Contributed by lilch4ever on Friday, 13th December 2002 @ 12:30:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Tributes

Living but many don't want too.
Seeing but many don't.
Taking advantage of things you have but many people would die to have what you have, and appreciate it at every cost.
Children sad and lonely but no one ever really seems to notice.
Mistaking it for something else.
Parents not doing their job of taking care of what is theirs.
The homeless dirty, hungry but people mistake them as stupid and crazy.
People don't realize that they were once people like me and you.
Somehow their life took a wrong toll.
Many of us could relate.
Many starving children in many countries.
People givinig but they never receive.
And the children continue to starve.
Talented people have harder times to get ahead than those who are less talented.
We live in a world that is unfair.
To many judging but don't need to.
No ones perfect because if that were the case the world would be too.
One shouldn't judge because one doesn't know.
One shoudln't judge at all.
And that is all I have to say, for now anyway.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
