Halls

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Crowded Halls
Filled with mean souls
These people dont know me
Yet they snicker and stare
As I pass by
Empty halls
Filled with silence
The silence is broken
By a young girl
Calling out "whale" to me
Do I care
No
These people have no remorse
Sometimes i would like to handle them
With extreme force
The halls it seems
Judge me by my outside
For they allow these
Hurtful comments to echo
Through both Crowded loudness
And empty silence
Soon enough
I will escape
From these halls
Where i hold many
Terrible and mean memories
Open the doors a little
Clean out the halls
Maybe these things will go away
By next fall

Good write. Kids can be so cruel...I remember middle school was the the worst years of my life. But I believe in karma and those people will get what's coming to them.

i loved this piece. so powerful and emotional. not many can even get me to think as much, but this made me feel it. you have original verses, which many lack. you do not however lack talent. the halls never change, only the people do....
